Custom Fabrication
Over that past week I have been working on a few custom fabrication projects.
Without getting to technical, I made a sputter platter for a high-vacuum deposition chamber for the Physics Department and a set of light diffusers for the President's House (see photo). The light diffuser was milled from a solid piece of 6"x6"x1" 6061 aluminum.
Needless to say, they were both fun to make. The sputter platter was cut from a waterjet and the light diffusers from a 3-axis CNC mill.

I Have a Blog?
Over these last 5 years I have not been dedicated to my blog.
"Blog, I am sorry for neglecting you. Please forgive me!"
"Of course I forgive you," Road-To-Smart types back, "of course I will forgive you!"
Phew! That was close!!

Still Here; Still at School
I'm still here and I'm still in school.
Currently I am the Senior Lab Technician for the Department of Engineering Technology at Texas State University.
More to come.
