It has been 2 years, 3 months and 21 days since my last post, a post in which I posed a very interesting question:
"B.A. in Philosophy + Certification in Professional Ethics + Masters of Science in Technology = ??? Where do I go from here?"
Well, I shall tell you where I went, and I shall be quick as not to bore any of you.
Graduated with my Masters and went to work for a multimedia gaming company. My job was to test slot machines used in Native American casino halls for bugs. It was fun, but got very boring very fast.
Next, I went (back) to work at summer camp. I was in charge of year-round operations and lived on camp for one year.
I had kept in touch with a buddy of mine (Lab Tech Coordinator at Texas State University-Engineering Dept) who mentioned the Engineering Dept was looking for another instructor for a course I had taken during my graduate studies and asked if I would consider the position. I said, "Yes!".
So, here I sit, typing as an Adjunct Faculty at Texas State University's Engineering Department. Pretty cool, I think.
I am still in school and loving it!
